This End User License Agreement applies to LumoTray for macOS and Windows. By installing, activating, or using LumoTray, you agree to these terms. LumoTray is licensed, not sold.
License grant
Subject to these terms, LumoTray grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to install and use the software for the license type you obtained. The software may be evaluated without a paid license; reminders and unlicensed markings may remain visible until activation.
Personal licenses
A personal license is issued to one person. It may be used on supported Windows PCs and Macs owned by that person where the license holder is the primary user. The same personal key may be used with both versions of LumoTray.
Lifetime validity and updates
Personal licenses do not expire. They include future LumoTray versions, updates, and upgrades released for supported platforms without another license fee. This does not guarantee that every release will support older hardware or operating-system versions, or that development will continue indefinitely.
Business licenses
Business use is licensed per device seat for one year from the date the license is issued. An organization must maintain at least as many active seats as the number of devices on which LumoTray is used, unless different written terms were supplied with the purchase. Continued licensed use after the term requires renewal.
Restrictions
You may not sell, share, publish, sublicense, rent, or redistribute a license key. You may not bypass license controls, remove copyright notices, misrepresent the software’s origin, or distribute modified versions as LumoTray. You may not reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the software except where applicable law expressly permits it.
Ownership and backup copies
LumoTray and its developer retain all rights in the software that are not expressly granted here. You may keep reasonable backup copies of the software and your license key for archival and recovery purposes.
External services and updates
Some features retrieve content from third-party services or display user-selected websites. Their availability and content are outside LumoTray’s control. The software may check for and install updates through Microsoft or LumoTray’s update service, depending on the platform and distribution method.
Privacy
The Privacy policy explains how purchase, license, feedback, analytics, and diagnostic information is handled.
Refunds
Every feature can be evaluated before purchase. If you need to request a refund, email hello@lumotray.com. Requests are considered individually and remain subject to applicable consumer law and Paddle’s processing rules.
Termination
This license ends if you materially breach these terms. If that happens, you must stop using the licensed software and remove copies in your control. Terms that by their nature should continue—including ownership, restrictions, warranty disclaimers, and liability limits—remain in effect.
No warranty
LumoTray is provided “as is” without warranties beyond those that cannot lawfully be excluded. Operating systems, hardware, and external content providers may change independently and can affect functionality.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, LumoTray and its developer are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, loss of profit, business interruption, or loss of information arising from use of or inability to use the software. Nothing in this agreement limits rights or liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
Changes and contact
This agreement may be updated for future software releases or purchases. License questions can be sent to hello@lumotray.com.
